Demonstration to mark visit of President SBY to UK
Messages for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono whose UK visit was marked by a demonstration on October 31st. The demonstration was organised by groups including DTE, TAPOL, Survival International, the UK-based NGO Forum for Indonesia andTimor-Leste and their supporters. The groups have published a briefing highlighting key issues including UK training of Indonesia’s counter-terrorism unit, Densus 88; Arms Sales; Human Rights in Papua; The Need for Dialogue in Papua; Rights, Livelihoods and Climate Justice; Religious Intolerance; and Timor-Leste and Impunity.
